Ease of Use and Maintenance
Push-button controls provide access to headphone functions, including noise control. Quiet and Aware Modes offer a direct way to change between stronger noise cancellation and greater awareness of the surroundings.
The Bose app is intended to guide setup, manage settings, and keep software current. The detachable audio cable adds a non-Bluetooth listening option. These headphones are listed as not water resistant, so they are not suited to situations where water resistance is required.
Pros and Trade-Offs
Notable strengths include active noise cancellation, Quiet and Aware Modes, customizable EQ, multipoint Bluetooth, USB-C charging, and the option for wired use. The cushioned over-ear design is also frequently noted in customer feedback for comfort during extended sessions.
Potential limitations include mixed reports on connection consistency and long-term reliability. People needing water-resistant headphones should note the listed lack of water resistance, and those who prefer fully wireless use may not need the included cable option.
Who This Product Is For
These headphones are suited to listeners seeking over-ear Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation, adjustable audio settings, and the flexibility to use either wireless or wired connections. They may also suit people who move between a phone, tablet, and laptop and want multipoint switching.
They are less suitable for users who specifically need water resistance or who want to avoid the possibility of Bluetooth connectivity issues reported by some customers.
